Decathlon

The Decathlon is comprised of 10 non-traditional events, playing to different strengths and encouraging teamwork. The events are designed with Bridges kids in mind. Most events are a twist on traditional games, designed to put all students on more equal footing, while also being fun. Students are encouraged to participate in as many events as they would like and push out of their comfort zone in a safe space.  The more participation from teammates, the better chance a team will have to win the Grand Prize! For more information on the event, click here.

Annual Gala

Bridges Academy's annual Gala is a truly magical event.  It brings our entire community of supporters together to fundraise and celebrate our unique mission.  Each year our gala committees—made up of our multi-talented parents—create a new theme with its own special flair.

​Pi Day

Bridges gets into the math spirit on or around March 14 (3/14) each year in celebration of our favorite irrational number: Pi. Or π. Or 3.14159265358979323846264338327 ...

​There are recitation contests, punny Pi presentations, various activities and, of course, pie. The edible variety.

The 2016 edition also coincided with the first day of Spirit Week, which was "Wear Your Pajamas to School" day.

Halloween Carnival

The Halloween Carnival is the first community event of the school year and is a fantastic, affordable night out for the whole family. The focus is working together as a community to create a memorable event for our families and on having a great time with friends, both old and new. Kids and parents alike get to enjoy a movie, games, food, and attractions in a not-too-scary environment designed with our Bridges kids and families in mind.

​Held on the Bridges campus, previous editions of the carnival have included a movie, inflatables, tarot reading, a Voodoo Lounge for high-schoolers, a photo booth, a pumpkin patch – the list goes on and on! Often, the carnival includes a gift “Boo-tique,” giving attendees an opportunity to get a jump on holiday shopping.
